Menopause Training Matrix™
MTM Platform Access Terms
Version 1.1 · Effective 19 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses MTM: people who bought it themselves, and people who access it through an employer’s licence. If you bought MTM yourself, the Terms and Conditions on MishWright.com also apply to your purchase.
1. Who these terms are for
The Menopause Training Matrix is provided by mishfit Franchising Pty Ltd (ABN 32 147 131 986), trading as MishWright.com. You have access in one of two ways:
- you bought MTM yourself (an individual purchase); or
- your employer holds an MTM Organisation Licence with us, and has given you a place on it.
Some of these terms only apply to one of these. Where they do, they say so. You can have access both ways at once, for example if you bought MTM yourself and later join an employer that holds a licence.
In these terms, we and us means mishfit Franchising Pty Ltd. You means the individual signing in. Your employer means an organisation that holds a licence and gives you access through it, whether you are employed by them or engaged by them as a contractor.
2. How your access works
Your login is personal to you. One person, one login. You must not share it, lend it, or let anyone else use it — including a colleague at the same workplace who has not been given their own. You cannot sell or transfer your access.
If you bought MTM yourself
Your purchase gives you:
- the online course — every module, video and download — and your certificate once you earn it, with no end date; and
- the Toolkit — the Menopause Symptom Sorter™ and your client link, the quick reference for each symptom category, and the GRACE Midlife Movement™ program-design tools — for 12 months from the day you bought MTM.
After 12 months you can renew the Toolkit each year. If you don’t, the Toolkit ends but the course and your certificate stay yours. Payments, renewals and refunds are covered by the Terms and Conditions on MishWright.com.
If your access comes through your employer
Your access, including the Toolkit, is provided through your employer’s licence. It is not a personal purchase, and you cannot refund it. It continues while both of these are true:
- you are employed or engaged by your employer to deliver services at a site covered by their licence; and
- your employer’s licence is current.
When either stops being true, your access through your employer ends. Section 12 sets out what happens then.
3. Accepting these terms
You accept these terms by ticking the acceptance box when you sign in to MTM. You cannot access MTM without accepting them.
We record the first time you accept each version of these terms, along with your email address, the date and time, and the version number.
Acceptance is not by payment, and nothing in these terms creates a payment obligation. If you bought MTM yourself, you paid when you bought it. If your access comes through your employer, any fees for MTM are a matter between us and your employer.
4. Signing in
MTM has no passwords. You sign in with a passkey: a secure key saved on your own phone or computer and unlocked with your face, fingerprint or screen lock. If you can’t use a passkey, we email you a one-time sign-in link instead.
You are responsible for keeping the devices that hold your passkeys, and the email account your sign-in links go to, secure. You are also responsible for anything done using your login.
You must not let anyone else use your passkey or your sign-in links, or create a passkey for your login on a device someone else uses. If you lose a device with your passkey on it, or think someone else can sign in as you, remove that passkey from your Account page, tell us straight away at support@mishwright.com. If your access comes through your employer, tell your manager too.
We may suspend or remove access to a login we reasonably believe is being shared or misused.
5. What MTM is, and what it is not
MTM is professional education for fitness professionals. It is designed to help you work more confidently and more competently with women in perimenopause and menopause.
MTM is not a clinical protocol, a medical qualification, or medical advice.
Mish Wright is not a registered medical professional. Nothing in MTM diagnoses, treats or cures any condition, and nothing in it is a substitute for advice from a woman’s own doctor or allied health practitioner.
Completing MTM does not extend your scope of practice. It helps you work well inside it.
6. Scope of practice
This section is the most important one in this document. Read it properly.
What you may do with MTM material
Inside the scope of your own qualification, registration and insurance, you may:
- design, adapt and progress exercise programming for women in perimenopause and menopause;
- talk with clients about menopause, symptoms and how they affect training, recovery and behaviour;
- share menopause education with clients using the resources MTM marks as client-facing (see section 9);
- recognise symptoms and patterns, and name what you are seeing;
- encourage a client to raise something with her doctor, and help her feel able to do it.
What you must not do
You must not:
- diagnose menopause, perimenopause, or any other condition;
- give medical advice, or anything a reasonable person would hear as medical advice;
- advise a client on menopausal hormone therapy (MHT/HRT) — including whether to start it, whether to stop it, whether to change the dose, which type to use, or whether it is safe for her;
- advise on prescription medication, supplements or dosage;
- tell a client to stop, start or change any treatment she has been prescribed;
- contradict, second-guess or undermine a client’s treating practitioner;
- present yourself as a medical or allied health professional, or use a title you do not hold;
- describe MTM as a medical, clinical or therapeutic qualification.
When to refer
Refer a client to her doctor or an appropriate practitioner when:
- she asks a question that needs a medical answer — including any question about MHT/HRT;
- she describes a symptom that needs assessment, including unusual or heavy bleeding, bleeding after menopause, chest pain, severe or new pain, or a sudden change in her health;
- she raises her mental health, and particularly if she says anything that worries you;
- she is not improving, or is getting worse, with what you are doing;
- you are not sure.
How to refer. Say plainly that it is outside what you do, that it is worth a conversation with her doctor, and that you will keep working with her on the training side. Referring is not failing her. It is the professional answer, and it protects both of you.
You remain responsible for your own practice
You are responsible for your own professional conduct. You must hold and maintain the qualifications, registration and insurance your work requires, and you must work within them. MTM does not cover you, insure you, or supervise you, and completing it does not transfer any of that responsibility to us.
If you work for an employer whose own policies are stricter than this section, follow your employer’s policies.
7. Completing MTM
The MTM online course is made up of the MTM Intro Module, the Menopause Symptom Sorter™, the five symptom modules and the GRACE Midlife Movement™ Beginner Toolkit.
To complete MTM, you:
- watch every video in every module, including the MTM Intro Module; and
- pass six quizzes at 100%: one for each of the five symptom modules, and the GRACE Midlife Movement™ Beginner Toolkit quiz. The MTM Intro Module has no quiz.
You may retake a quiz as many times as you need. The answers you get right stay locked in, so each time you only answer the questions you got wrong, until all of them are right. The point is that you know the material, not that you got it right first go.
8. Your certificate and CPD
When you have watched every video and passed all six quizzes at 100%:
- the MTM Practitioner Certificate issues automatically, in your name;
- you are awarded 2 CPDs. Mish Wright is an AUSactive CPD Provider.
Your certificate and your CPD credit belong to you, not to any employer. You keep both whatever happens to your access, including if you leave your job or your employer’s licence ends.
You are responsible for recording your own CPD with AUSactive or with whichever body you are registered with. We issue the certificate; we do not lodge it for you.
9. What you may share with clients
Some MTM resources are written for you. Some are written for your clients. A resource’s label is the colour of the band across the top of its cover, and the platform shows the label next to every download:
- Plum For you only
- For you only. Do not give it to a client.
- Gold Share with clients
- Written for your clients. You may share it with your clients.
- Teal For you and your clients
- Written for both you and your clients. You may share it with your clients.
If a resource is not labelled, treat it as Plum until you have checked with us. The platform shows it as “For you only”.
Sharing a client-facing resource with your own clients, as part of your work with them, is what it is for. What you must not do is publish MTM material, post it online, put it in your own paid product, give it to another organisation, or pass it to anyone who is not your client.
10. Intellectual property and copyright
All MTM material — videos, recordings, downloads, templates, the Menopause Symptom Sorter™, the GRACE Midlife Movement™ material, and everything else on the platform — is the property of mishfit Franchising Pty Ltd.
Your access, whether you bought it yourself or it comes through your employer’s licence, lets you use it for your own professional education and in your work with your own clients, on the terms set out here. It does not transfer ownership of any part of it to you or to any employer.
You must not:
- copy, reproduce, record, screenshot or download MTM material except where the platform provides a download;
- republish, post or distribute MTM material, in any medium;
- use MTM material to teach, train or certify anyone;
- include MTM material in your own program, product, course or service;
- edit, adapt, translate or rebrand MTM material;
- remove or alter any branding, watermark or copyright notice.
Written permission for anything outside this comes from hello@mishwright.com, and only in writing.
11. Confidentiality
MTM content, materials and platform access are confidential. Treat them that way.
Anything shared by other participants in the MTM community, or in a live session, is confidential and is not to be shared outside it.
12. When your access ends
If you bought MTM yourself
Your access to the course and your certificate does not end, unless we end it under the last paragraph of this section. Your Toolkit ends 12 months after you bought MTM, or at the end of the last year you renewed for. When it ends:
- your client link stops working, so clients can no longer fill in the Menopause Symptom Sorter™ for you or share new answers with you. Answers already saved on a client’s phone stay there;
- the quick reference for each category and the GRACE Midlife Movement™ program-design tools are no longer available to you; and
- you keep the course, the downloads and your certificate, and you can renew the Toolkit at any time.
If your access comes through your employer
Your access through your employer ends when you stop being employed or engaged by your employer at a covered site, or when your employer’s licence ends, whichever comes first. Your employer’s managers add and remove people on the platform themselves, and we are told of every change. When they remove you, that access ends straight away.
When it ends, unless you also bought MTM yourself:
- you stop using MTM materials, and you delete or destroy any copies you hold — clients you properly shared client-facing resources with may keep them;
- you stop describing yourself as having current MTM access;
- you keep your MTM Practitioner Certificate and the CPD credit you earned. Those are yours. What you lose is the ongoing access, the updates and the community.
If you also bought MTM yourself, your own purchase carries on as set out above.
For everyone
We may suspend or end your access immediately if you breach these terms, in particular sections 4, 6, 9 or 10.
13. Privacy
We collect your name, email address, your progress through the modules, and your acceptance of these terms. We use that information to give you access and issue your certificate.
If your access comes through your employer, we also tell your employer about your progress and completion. We do not share anything else about you with them. If you bought MTM yourself, we do not share your progress with anyone.
Our Privacy Policy sets out the rest, including how to ask for a copy of your information or have it corrected.
14. Limitation of liability
MTM is education. What you do with it in your own practice is your professional decision and your professional responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss, cost, claim or damage arising from your access to MTM or your use of what you learn in it. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to re-supplying the access.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
15. If something goes wrong between us
If you have a problem, tell us first, in writing, at support@mishwright.com. Set out what the problem is and what you would like done about it.
We will try in good faith to resolve it with you directly, by email or on a call. If that does not work, we will both attempt mediation through the Law Institute of Victoria before either of us starts legal proceedings.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make a material change, the version number increases and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not accept the new version, you cannot sign in.
The current version is always the one on this page, and its version number and effective date are shown at the top.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of them continues to apply.
